Frequently Asked Questions – Competition

There are Rules and there is Honor…

Helen Ciallella, President of the FPP in 1984 recently wrote the following remarks regarding the issue of honesty in entering images in competition.

Let us also use the term , “Honor” and hope that we are “honorable people” who will play by the rules which are more valuable than attaining an 80 in print competition.  If not, the value which we hold dear means nothing and those less honorable may achieve the ribbon with the medal, but it is tarnished and so is that persons character.

Helen

It is our hope of the Competition Committee that all members achieve their degrees and awards with honor.
