FPP Board Change

The FPP Board of Directors announces the resignation of Past President/Director Martin Gudz.  Martin had served on the Board since 2011 including the holding the offices of Convention Manager, Interim Trade Show Manager, and President in 2013-2014 and continued to serve in the role of Past President for 2 years.  We wish him well in his future endeavors and thank him for his many years of devoted service to the FPP. 

The Board of Directors has appointed Kira Derryberry to fill the time remaining on Martin's term.  We are very excited about the skill set that Kira brings with her and we look forward to working with her as we continue to address the needs of the FPP, its members, and the industry. 

Kira is a portrait photographer based in Tallahassee, FL. She's a Certified Professional Photographer, Photographic Craftsman, and is a councilor for the state of Florida for the PPA. She's been a member of the FPP since 2013 and during that time has served as the FPP delegate for the Tallahassee guild, contributed to Florida Photographer Magazine, served as a committee member for FOCUS and for the PPA, and was 2015 Fall Seminar Speaker. She currently is serving her second consecutive year as President of the Tallahassee Professional Photographers Guild and has served on their board for 4 years. She's an active competitor in both the state and International Print Competitions and earned silver medals in 2014 and 2015 at IPC.

Kira got her start in photography in high school then graduated with a BA from the University of Alabama with photography as her focus. Knowing how to shoot, but not necessarily how to start a business, Kira leaned on her experience as a web designer for work, taking a job at a Tallahassee based advertising agency for 5 years before opening her studio in 2010. Since her studio opening, Kira has developed a strong client base in portraits ranging from children and families, to headshots, commercial work, and boudoir.   

Both Kira and her husband, Kevin originate from Alabama, but made Tallahassee, FL their home in 2005 where they raise their now seven year old daughter, Lucy.

The FPP Mourns the Loss of Christine Reynolds

CHRISTINE REYNOLDS, Master Photographer, Craftsman, Certified Professional Photographer, Florida Degree of Photographic Excellence, Florida Service Award, Florida Education Degree. 

It is with great sadness that the Florida Professional Photographers announces the passing of long-time FPP Member Christine Reynolds. 

As an FPP member since 1998, she served as a Print Competition Judge, Speaker, and a mentor to many.  In 2014, the FPP awarded Christine with PPA’s National Award for Meritorious Contributions to Professional Photography.  Christine was a member of the Tampa Area Professional Photographers Association (TAPPA) and served on the Board of Directors.  

Christine served in the US Military during the Vietnam era as a pilot and received many commendations.  We will be forever indebted to her for her contributions to the photographic industry as well as her service to our country.

A Celebration of Life is being planned, details to follow.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that her memory be honored through the following organizations:

·        The Red River Valley Fighter Pilots Association which provides scholarships for the children of its members (CFC #10510)

The Air Warrior Courage Foundation which provides support to returning wounded G I's and families. (CFC #11450)

Thank You Patrick Van Dusen!

Director Patrick VanDusen has announced that he and his wonderful wife, Laurie, are moving forward with their plans into a new chapter in their lives. Along with this great news we also have a touch of bad news, as Patrick is resigning the remaining portion of his term as a Director with the Florida Professional Photographers. Take heart though, as we will continue to see Patrick involved with the FPP!

We send Patrick and Laurie on their journey with all the best wishes of happiness, the excitement of transition, and our continued support of them as friends and family in the FPP.

Thank you, Patrick, for your service and willingness to serve. I personally look forward to the tales of travel!

Welcome Marti Morrow Newkirk to FPP Board

It is with great pleasure that we welcome Marti Morrow Newkirk as an appointee to the FPP Board of Directors.

Marti is a wedding and portrait photographer based in Lakeland. She has been a member of the FPP since 2012, and has served on the Convention Door Prize Committee as well as having chaired one of the most difficult convention committees we have - the Photography Committee - on both 2013 AND 2014.

She began shooting in the film days, taking journalism and working as her high school yearbook photographer.

In the fall of 2012 she completed the required testing and image submission/review to become one of only five Certified Professional Photographers in Polk County.

In addition to her activity in the FPP, she is also an active member of PPA, SEPPA, and is currently the Vice President of the Professional Photographers Guild of Mid Florida.

Please join us in welcoming Marti to her new position as FPP Board Member!

Don't get confused... it's still us!  Our FPP family is very excited to gather every year for our annual convention, trade show, image competition, networking, play time, etc!

Florida Convention Renamed FOCUS

A few years back, the FPP began referring to its annual convention as FCON (Florida Convention). This year, it's been officially renamed FOCUS by the Board of Directors. The FPP Board took several bold measures to completely reinvent the FPP Convention, trimming it down from the five day event it's held for decades, to a more suitable three day event, not unlike PPA's IMAGING. A three day convention is more affordable for both the FPP and the attendees, cutting room space needed as well as hotel nights for everyone.  The BOD made these moves, along with many others, in an effort to streamline the event and restructure it for the needs of today's membership.

Other moves involved the availability for non-members to attend at a pre-determined price, as well as "one-day-only" prices for those who can't stay for all three days. All of these moves are believed to boost attendance as well as membership, and enhancing the educational experience the FPP is charged with providing.

Victoria Kelly Named Editor

The Florida Professional Photographers is pleased to announce that Victoria Kelly has taken the reigns of our official publication effective immediately. 

Victoria is a 20 veteran of the photo industry and has a degree in computer science. She assumed the reigns of Southern Exposure, the official publication of the Southeastern Professional Photographers Association in May of 2013.

She has served on the Board of Directors of the Professional Photographers of North Carolina, as well as the School Director for the East Coast School from 2011-2013.

Please join us in welcoming Victoria, as we look forward to working with her and her talents for many years to come.

PPA Councilor Report

The Professional Photographers of America's Council held its 2014 meeting at Imaging USA on January 13th in Phoenix, Arizona. Representing Florida were elected Councilors Kim Warmolts, Kevin Newsome, Sandra Pearce, Britney Kirby Fullgraf, Keely Deuschle, and Robin Phillips. Proxies were Olyn Long for Gary Hughes and Carol Walker for Marybeth Hamberger. Greg Daniel, an FPP Life Member, was also in attendance as a Councilor by virtue of being a member of the PPA Board of Directors.

Results of the Executive Board Election were announced. The 2014 Chairman of the Board will be Ralph Romaguera, Sr. Officers will be President Susan Michal (from Florida,) Vice-president Michael Timmons and Secretary/Treasurer Lori Craft. Elected to the PPA Board of Directors by Council were Barbara Bovat and Steve Kozak. Re-elected incumbents were
Mary Fisk-Taylor, Greg Daniel, Stephen Thetford and Audrey Wancket.

PPA highlights for 2013 included:

  • Puerto Rico has rejoined PPA and is currently thriving.
  • The World Photographic Cup, an Olympic style country vs. country “fun” competition was initiated by PPA and the first winner was announced at Imaging 2014.
  • PPA's online forum, “The Loop,” is more popular than anticipated as a communications tool among members.
  • has been retooled and is averaging 86,000 visits per month.
  • has more than 200 instructional videos available free online to members.
  • The Photographic Exhibitions Committee reported 4927 images were submitted for judging and entrants were texted their scores immediately.
  • The Certification Program has been revamped and improved.
  • Revenues were up and expenses were about the same.
  • IUSA2014 revenue was down and attendance was expected to be also, but this will be more than offset by stock investment profits of over 3.5 million dollars.
  • “The Professional Photographer,” PPA's 107 year old magazine is doing well.
  • PPA has initiated a “Legacy Program” to capture on video the memories of senior members of the association.
  • The “Benchmark” survey on pricing will be available soon free to members.
  • PPA membership now numbers above 27,000.
  • According to consumer surveys people are spending more on “nonessentials” than ever.
  • Life Membership will now be awarded to those whose age plus the number of years they have been a PPA member equals 95.
  • A video promoting the “See The Difference” campaign is available for free download to members from
  • A campaign titled “Be More” was launched at IUSA to encourage members of PPA to get more out of everything they do.
  • Congratulations to Florida Photographers who received PPA Degrees at this year's convention

Thank You to Florida Photographer Editor/Trade Show Manager Luis Melendi

After nearly four decades of incredible service to the FPP, Luis Melendi, M.Photog,Cr,CPP,FDPE,FSA,FED, is retiring from the positions of Florida Photographer Editor and Trade Show Manager.

Rarely, has anyone shown the kind of commitment to the FPP as Luis has, and none for nearly as long. His service as President (1986), Magazine Editor (since 1977), and Trade Show Manager (since 1990), are unmatched and are greatly appreciated by everyone. 

Only a handful of people understand the stresses he's endured, yet through them he continued to give and be a true inspiration to everyone.

Our award winning magazine, the Florida Photographer, became "award winning" only because of Luis, and has served as the association's calling card for many, many years. 

Luis has always been a true friend to all FPP members and we hope he will continue to be a source of knowledge and inspiration for us all. Luis is the true embodiment of the FPP's mission statement and his shoes will be very hard to fill. 

The FPP Board would like to wish Luis, his wife, Yvonne, and his daughter, Monique, the greatest happiness and much success in the future.

Congrats to FPP Member, Barbara Spratlin

The hits just keep on comin! An image created by FPP Member, Barbara Spratlin, titled "Heir to the Throne" was selected for the September cover of the SEPPA magazine, Southeastern Exposure. Florida photographers seem to have become the "go to" image makers for industry cover shots, and Barbara's image fits right nicely in that category! Congratulations Barbara!

Michael Mowbray Program

The last program of the convention was presented by Michael Mowbray. An incredible amount of information was presented, and for those of you who are terrible at note-taking, or maybe weren't able to be present for some of the program... here is a link to a PDF of his PowerPoint presentation.

FPP Board Member Patrick Van Dusen Featured in PPA Magazine

As PPA puts it "Images wield the power to effect change. In this monthly feature, Professional Photographer spotlights professional photographers using their talents to make a difference through charitable work."

This month they featured FPP Board Member Patrick Van Dusen who graduated from DBCC then spent 37 years TEACHING at DBCC. His involvement as a volunteer for the Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association, using the medium of photography as therapy for those in treatment has twice earned him "Volunteer of the Year" status.

Convention Price Reduced for Non-FPP Members

The FPP Board of Directors has announced that the price to attend the FPP Convention for NON-FPP members has been sliced in HALF, from $300 to $149. The move is designed to attract more non-members to the convention and provide them with a glimpse at the value of membership in the FPP. It is hoped that many will recognize that value, and make the decision to join us for only $61 more ($210). Please be a good ambassador for the profession, and welcome them to our convention. There is strength in numbers for our membership!

FPP Member, Greg Daniel Joins PPA Board

Gregory Daniel, M.Photog.Cr., F-ASP, has been elected to the Board of Directors for Professional Photographers of America.

Made up of working professional photographers, the PPA board helps guide the largest non-profit professional photography association. Daniel is proud to serve PPA in such a leadership capacity.

“I truly love this profession and all that it has provided my family, clients and myself from a creative and financial perspective,” said Daniel. “The skills I have obtained through entrepreneurship, photographic association leadership positions and upper management for the Space Program provide me with some unique resources to contribute.”

A PPA member for 30 years, Daniel founded Gregory Daniel Portrait Artist in 1979. With the help of his wife, Lesa, Daniel continues to operate two portrait photography galleries, one in Indiatlantic and another in their hometown of Titusville, Fla. Daniel also owns Daniel Properties, a commercial and residential property management company, and held multiple management positions with the Space Shuttle Program from 1979 to 2006.

Daniel is a highly decorated photographer. With PPA, he has achieved the title of Photographic Craftsmen in 1988, Master of Photography in 1989, and received the Imaging Excellence Award in 2005. He has been a PPA-affiliated instructor for many years and has earned numerous awards from PPA affiliates as well. In addition, Daniel has held committee chair positions for Cameracraftsmen of America and is a founding member of the International Society of Portrait Artists (ISPA).

Daniel’s passion is creating a fun environment of friendship that is revealed in his portraits by expression and beauty. By adding an element of fun to his art, he produces work that is pleasing both to clients and art critics alike. With his new role on the board, Daniel hopes his unique blend perspective, skills and best practices will help wherever needed. He hopes to leverage his years of experience and connections within the photographic industry to serve and further PPA’s mission, delivering trusted resources and supporting its members in growing more profitable businesses.

FPP Board Nominees for 2013

Each year, the membership votes on three of the nine seats that make up the FPP Board of Directors. This year, we have two appointees that are actually running for their first elected term, and one newcomer running for her first elected term. The membership will have an opportunity to vote at the General Membership meeting during our 2013 convention. Here are the Board's nominees for this year...

Cindy Strickland, FED,FSA
A Moment Captured by Cindy Strickland opened in 1998 in Tallahassee specializing in children and families, both environmentally and in-studio. Most recently, she has added her love of painting to her studio line by offering digitally painted portraits.

She has previously served five years on the board of the Tallahassee Professional Photographers Association, two years as an FPP Delegate, is an FPP Mentor, and is completing her second appointed year on the Board.

A big believer in continuing education, she has attended the Florida School for the past ten years, and been an active participant at the annual convention for the past eleven.

Cindy is a fifth-generation Floridian and currently lives in Tallahassee with her husband, Tim, and their two boys, Ben and Tyler.

Britney Kirby Fullgraf, Cr.Photog,CPP
Based in Lakeland, Britney is a native Floridian. She's a Past President of the Professional Photographers of Mid-Florida and has served as their Communications Director and FPP Delegate, as well as an FPP Mentor.

She credits many photography mentors for her success and says she has been overwhelmed by help, support and encouragement since entering the photo industry. Her unique business model and fresh perspective have attracted the attention of photographers and organizations across the country. She assists a number of photographers in growing their businesses through her private consulting services and maintains a busy speaking schedule.

Britney serves on the Board of Trustees for PPA Charities and participates heavily on the national and state level with vendors and other speakers, as they support Operation Smile. She also serves on the PPA International Committee and PPA Council.

Her studio, Belvedere Studio, is based in Central Florida where she is active in her local community and lives with her husband, Eric, and their twelve year old son, Simon.

Robin Adams
This will be Robin's first elected three year term on the Board. Robin is from the Tallahassee area and has been involved in photography for eight years, specializing in children and family portraiture, as well as pet photography.

She is a Past President of the Tallahassee Professional Photographers Guild (2012). Robin joined the FPP in 2007 and has served as the Assistant Competition Manager (2012), and most recently took the reigns as the Competition Manager (2013).

FPP Salutes Luis Melendi

What can you say about someone like our Trade Show Manager and Magazine Editor, Luis Melendi? Well...  you can't say anything because there IS no one like Luis Melendi! But here's what you can say about Luis himself...

He joined the FPP in 1976. By 1995 he had earned the designations of Certified Professional Photographer, Master Photographer, Photographic Craftsman, Florida Degree of Photographic Excellence, Florida Service Award, National Award Recipient, and Southeastern Award Recipient.

He served on the FPP Board of Directors for six years, served as the Convention Manager, and then as President in 1986/87.

He took over as Editor of the Florida Photographer Magazine in 1977 and for 36 years has consistently produced one of the country's best state publications, taking first place no less than six times and placing no lower than third in the countless PPA affiliated communications competitions that he has entered.

He became the FPP's permanent Trade Show Manager in 1990 and for 23 years has provided our state association with a first class trade show and for thousands of members, given us our very own candy store in which to spend our money and upgrade our equipment.

Luis' life took a tragic turn in 1994 when his beautiful 19 year old daughter, Shannon, a college sophomore at Emory University in Atlanta, was kidnapped and brutally murdered. It wasn't until 2005 that her killer was finally brought to justice and sentenced to life in prison. Had it not been for the strength and perseverance of Luis and his lovely wife, Yvonne, that killer might still be free to strike again.

And yet, that tragic episode in Luis' life is not what defines him. It was his reaction to it. It was how he handled it, how he handled himself and the new world around him that defines Luis. Through it all, Luis maintained his sense of worth, his dedication to his family, his wife Yvonne, his surviving daughter Monique, and incredibly, his devotion to the FPP and his responsibilities as Trade Show Manager and Editor of our magazine.

No one could have blamed Luis if he'd have just walked away from those duties at the time, but that's not Luis' style - far from it. Luis forged ahead and not only continued to provide the FPP with these wonderful amenities, but he continued to be as big a pain in the butt to every President that has ever served, and for that, we thank him! 

In 1996 Luis was awarded Life Membership in the FPP.

So what else can you say when you think of Luis Melendi? As trivial as it may seem, how about "Thank You." When you meet Luis at the Trade Show, please take a moment and thank him for his years of service and all that he has done to make this association the best professional photography organization in the country.

Former Executive Director Theresa Saylor Remembered

The FPP and all who knew her lost a great friend January 4th.

Theresa Saylor became the FPP’s official bookkeeper in 1973. She was promoted to Executive Secretary in 1974, a position later renamed Executive Director. In 1999, after 25 years, she retired from the position of Ex Dir, and her daughter, Teri Crownover, took over the job. Teri held the position until 2010. Theresa , however, was maintained as the FPP’s official bookkeeper right up through most of last year (2012).

The Theresa Saylor Award was established in 1999 and is presented in her honor to an individual who epitomizes the idea of service behind the scenes, not for the glory, but for the good of the FPP. Those of you who knew Theresa, knew her to be a wonderful, kind, and generous individual who loved the FPP and its members with all her heart. She was well respected by her members, the 25 boards that served with her, and the Executive Directors from every state she came in contact with. She will be greatly missed.

Congratulations to FPP Members Lesa and Greg Daniel!

The September issue of PPA's magazine "Professional Photographer" will soon be hitting the mailboxes of subscribers and PPA members everywhere.

Gracing the cover is an image taken by newly awarded Life Member Greg Daniel and his lovely wife Lesa. Inside are even more amazing images from the Daniels, along with a feature article on how they transitioned their business to the upscale clientele they now service.

The online version of the magazine can be viewed now by logging in to PPA's Website at and entering your membership password (must be a PPA member).  The printed version will arrive soon.

Again, congratulations to Greg & Lesa Daniel! You make the FPP very proud!

Debbie Alcorn Named Convention Manager

Dozens upon dozens of previous convention managers have summed up their year with the same statement, "About the time I figured out what I was supposed to be doing, the year was OVER!"

In an effort to streamline how the Convention Manager's duties are handled, the FPP Board voted to convert the position of Convention Manager from a "different volunteer every year" to "a paid, permanent position with the same consistency as the Florida School, the Trade Show, and the Florida Photographer Editor positions."

The position was advertised to the membership, applications were submitted, and interviews were held. In the end, the Board selected Debbie Alcorn, the 2009 Past President and nine year veteran of the FPP Board. In addition to being a veteran photographer for many years, she's given seminars and worked as the lab rep for Reedy Photoprocess for over 30 years. She served as the Convention Manager a few years back and has a very intimate knowledge of the convention from every perspective.

The FPP Board welcomes the chance to work with Debbie in developing a more efficient and profitable convention for the membership.

New "NON-Professional" Membership Category Available

After much discussion at the General Membership Meeting, the membership voted unanimously to create a new membership category for NON-Professionals. The dues for a non-pro will be the same as that of a Professional member ($210), but limits the privileges of the association. A more detailed description of the membership categories can be found on the Membership Levels page of this web site.

Congratulations New Board Members

At this year's General Business Meeting, the membership welcomed Patrick Van Dusen, Carol Walker, and Jackson Koontz, all for their first elected three year terms on the board.

The new officers for the 2012-2013 term are President Sandra Pearce McAuley, Vice President Martin Gudz, and Secretary/Treasurer Jackson Koontz.

The remainder of the board consists of Britney Kirby Fullgraf, Cindy Strickland, Gary Hughes, and Past President Donna Campiz.

Pre-Registration and Salon Competition Entry Now Closed

The deadline to pre-register for the convention ended at midnight last night (August 5th). All FPP Members who did not pre-register but wish to attend the convention may still do so by registering at the Convention Registration Desk. There is a $25 registration fee for FPP Members who do so.

The entry deadline for Salon Competition also expired at midnight last night (August 5th). Good luck to all who entered! See you at the convention!

"Display Only" & "Judged" Prints Eligible for Special Print Awards

There are three ways to enter this year's competition:

  1. Enter Digital Files ONLY
  2. Enter Digital Files to be judged, but submit "Display Only" Prints
  3. Enter Prints to be judged, but submit digital files for Salon Use Only

Prints, whether submitted for Judging OR for Display Only will be eligible for any of the following Special Print Awards:

  • Kodak Gallery Awards
  • Fuji Masterpiece Awards
  • Lexjet Sunset Awards
  • People's Choice Awards

Interguild Salon Competition Change

In past years, each guild was responsible for selecting four images by four of their guild's competitors to designate as that guild's competition prints. The scores were added up and averaged, then compared to the averages of all the other guild's prints, and a winner was determined.

THIS YEAR, when you upload your images (whether you are competing with digital files OR prints) you will be given a chance to select which guild you belong to and check that box. The scores of ALL images submitted from your guild will be averaged out to compete against the average scores of all the other guilds.

This will not only relieve the guild's from the arduous task of selecting which images will represent their guild, but also allow for a more accurate representation of how that guild's competitors stack up against the other guilds.

Competition Uploading Now Available

The upload portal for your competition images is now open and ready for your uploads. Go to and request a password (it is not the same password as your FPP Membership access number). You will be emailed a password (that you will have the option of changing later) to use to fill out your name, info, etc., then you can begin uploading your entries - just follow the prompts and instructions.

Be prepared to pay for your print case fee at the time of uploading ($50 for one single entry, or $95 for two to six entries).

Competition Rules Update


The size requirements of your digital competition entries has changed. The OLD size requirement was a maximum of 1600 pixels on the longest edge. The NEW size requirement is a maximum of 3000 pixels on the longest edge. Your maximum file size should not exceed 4.5mg.

FPP Nominees for 2012 Board of Directors

The FPP Board is pleased to present its nominees for the 2012 Board of Directors. At the General Membership Meeting, to be held Tuesday, August 14th, 10:30-12:30, the membership will be voting on the following slate of candidates for the Board of Directors:

Jackson Koontz
Jackson is currently an appointee to the board, so this will be his first elected, three year term. Jackson is from the Ocala area and has been involved in photography for over 20 years, specializing in sports, portraits, and weddings, as well as video and sound. He is a past president of the Professional Photographers of North Central Florida (2010 & 2011). Jackson joined the FPP in 2005 and has served as AV Chair and on the Social Committee.

Carol Walker
Carol is currently an appointee to the board, so this will be her first elected three year term. She joined the FPP in 1996. She is a graduate of the photography program at pTEC in St. Pete, and worked for both Olin Mills and Glamour Shots before spending nine years as the Film Commission Manager for Pinellas County.After working with FPP Past President Bruce Evensen for a while she took over as owner of Thomas Bruce Studio in 2009. The studio specializes in family, children and high school senior portraits. She has worked on the Salon Committee for 16 years and was recognized for those efforts by being awarded the highly respected Past Presidents Award at the FPP convention in 2010. Carol is a Past President and Life Member of the Tampa Area Professional Photographers Association.

Patrick Van Dusen
This will be Patrick's first elected three year term on the board (actually he served on the FPP Board over 20 years ago, but no one remembers exactly when!). Patrick graduated from Daytona State College with an AS Degree in Photography and Florida A&M University with a Bachelor's Degree in Technology (major - photography). His photographic experience includes photojournalism, seniors, lab management, portraits and weddings. He taught for 33 years at Daytona State College, retiring in April of 2011. During his tenure at DSC he was program manager for 20 years and helped to develop a nationally recognized curriculum. A Bachelor's Degree in conjunction with the University of Central Florida was also created during his tenure as the program manager. He is a co-founder of the FPP Florida School and an FPP Life member. He has received the Past-Presidents Award for his contributions to the organization and his work in Therapeutic Photography. He is currently the volunteer with the longest time of service for Stewart-Marchman-Act a local rehabilitation facility where he conducts the therapeutic photo sessions. He has been volunteer of the year twice for the Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association.

Camera Sensor Cleaning by SPTS at Trade Show

Bring your dirty sensors to the Trade Show at the FPP Convention and get them cleaned while you wait! Techs from Southern Photo Technical Service will be set up in their booth and available to clean your sensors on the "spot." Why ship your camera off anywhere when you can bring it to the Trade Show and take care of it right there?

2013 SEPPA Convention - $49

At the 2012 Board of Governors meeting in Athens, GA, the BOG voted unanimously to institute a convention registration fee of $49 for SEPPA members attending the SEPPA convention. NON-SEPPA members will be charged $350 to attend the convention. This move came as a result of the rising costs to produce the convention; i.e. speaker fees, airfares, food costs, meeting space, etc.

The Executive Board (like the rest of us) has been doing everything it can to cut costs and contain expenses in running the District Judging for the 11 member states it is responsible for. This was described as a last resort move but a necessary one to keep our District Affilate a viable association.
