The Top Ten Reasons 'Why you need to join our family'
10.Business Development
Networking lies at the core of most successful small businesses. Even though our membership encompasses all levels of skill and income within the industry, it is normal for our most experienced member to spend time with the least experienced to raise his or her level of professionalism within our industry.
9.Print Education/Competition
Our renowned photographic competition enables our members to fine tune their skills. We utilize the skills of well known judges from around the country who are tough, but fair. Members have the opportunity to earn prestigious degrees.
8.Degrees
Members have the opportunity to earn a variety of photographic degrees for service, education, and award-winning prints. These degrees are highly recognized in the photographic community.
7.Education
Our Annual Convention, Florida School, and Seminars are designed to keep members’ knowledge current with advances in the industry. Photoshop, Lighting, Marketing, and Digital Workflow are just a few of the programs that FPP has offered. We also offer a Mentor Program and Technical Advisors.
6.Friendship
In an increasingly complex world, FPP provides one of the most basic of human needs: the need for friendship and fellowship. We hear countless stories of members forming long-time friendships and being there for one another.
5.Prestige
FPP members are prominent people – leaders within their communities serving on church boards, education boards, city councils. FPP is the most prestigious photography organization in this state, recognized throughout the country as a prominent association with outstanding photographers.
4.Publications
Members receive our magazine, Florida Photographer. This quarterly publication has consistently received national competition awards, often placing first.
3.Scholarships
Many different types of scholarships are available to our members. Most of these are awarded for service, and they are used at our Florida School and our Annual Conventions.
2.Trade Show
The FPP Trade Show, one of the largest in the Southeast, is filled with firms exhibiting all kinds of photographic products. Interested Exhibitors may contact the Trade Show Manager by clicking on the Trade Show link in the menu to the left.
